Anyone who's been to an anime con has seen mobs of people Caramelldansen. Who knew that this could be an effective workout, in addition to being a ton of fun???
Here's what to do:
Set aside half an hour to an hour every day (more if you feel like it) dedicated just to Caramelldansen.
Put together a playlist of all of your favorite YouTube videos of anime characters Caramelldansen. Any of the remix versions will have the best effect. (I personally like the one with L.)
Set the playlist to automatically go to the next video, get out of your chair, and dance until the time you set aside is gone. (For best effects, don't take breaks)
Why it works:
The hip movement works out your core and your legs- especially good for that mini-skirt area. Depending on how you hold your arms up to clap your hands, there is a varying degree of anaerobic exercise. This is essentially cardio, but more fun! And if you have fun while doing something, you're more likely to keep it up, and your body reacts better to the work-out. Yay!
